Little Cherubs is a privately owned and family run business currently operating out of a carefully converted Chapel in Fforestfach Swansea, and is situated within easy access to the M4 corridor. We offer a safe and stimulating environment for children 3 months – 12 years.
Our Facilities
Little Cherubs Day Nursery recognises the importance of all children having sufficient time and space to play freely as part of their day. We believe that playing contributes to children’s learning and their ability to learn as well as their health, well being and happiness. As well as using the nursery, activities can also be enjoyed effectively and safely in our enclosed outdoor play area. Meals are nutritionally balanced and we cater for any dietary requirements. We also hold a 5* food hygiene rating and are members of the National Day Nurseries Association and Early Years Wales. Little Cherubs is proud to offer ‘The Childcare Offer Wales’ giving 30 hours of childcare provision.
We have a separate baby room (0-2 years) as well as a pre-school room (3-12 years) and a tweenie area (2-3 Years). An art room is an additional space offered for messy activities/play. All rooms include a wide range of activities to meet all aspects of the children’s development.
Our Staff
At Little Cherubs we believe that our staff team is our most important asset. They are individually chosen on their skills, abilities and personality that enables them to provide an excellent level of care and understanding to your child. All staff meet regulatory requirements set out by Care Inspectorate Wales which includes rigorous security procedures including a police check with an enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS), reference and qualification checks and successful completion of their probationary period.
As a basic requirement All staff are qualified in First Aid, Child Protection and Food Hygiene and we encourage our staff to continually further their knowledge and undertake additional training and development opportunities allowing constant improvement of the quality of the childcare services we provide.

My son has recently started at Little Cherubs Day Nursery after attending another day nursery in Swansea for 2 years. I have been so impressed with the way that they have helped him to settle in. He will now happily go into the nursery, which I have never experienced before and even asks to go on days that he doesn’t usually go! This nursery is great, I have total peace of mind going to work now!
